The participants in our last Habitat for Humanity event found it so rewarding that they didn’t want to have to wait a whole year to do it again, so we have another one scheduled for U-M Alums on August 7, 2010. This will be an all-day event, from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, and it will again be in West Seattle.

Chuck Chan is organizing the event for us, so please let him know if you are interested in participating, and he can sign you up and get you additional details.

The Alumni Association’s Clubs Council is again sponsoring a club-wide community service day on the same day as the U-M spring commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 1.

We have made arrangements for 10 U-M alums to donate our time at a Habitat for Humanity site in West Seattle on Saturday, May 1.

The AAUM will have T-shirts (see attached photo for design) available to commemorate the day for all volunteers to wear at the event.
