Come join your fellow Wolverines as we watch this historic year for Michigan football draw to a close.

Immediately after celebrating our glorious victory at the Rocksport, we will convene for a snowball fight in downtown Hades.

You are welcome to join other local Michigan fans at the Rocksport Bar and Grill in West Seattle for all UM football games!

(Children are welcome at the Rocksport, but do not bring them to this game unless you are prepared for them to see grown men weeping.)

Adidas clothing available

Adidas Clothing

The Alumni Association has partnered with adidas so you can show your Wolverine spirit while representing your local alumni club. Display the Seattle Club name on a regular T-shirt ($18), long sleeve T-shirt ($20) or hooded sweatshirt ($45). Orders must be placed in minimum quantities of 24 (any combination of sizes and/or styles), so we will wait to place our club order until we have member orders for at least 24 shirts.

Lucky attendees received free Michigan tote bags provided by the U of M Alumni Association.

Seattle Wins Outstanding Club Award!

2008 Award Ceremony

The University of Michigan Club of Seattle was pleased and honored to learn recently that we were selected by the Alumni Association as one of the recipients of their Club Awards for 2008. We were selected as the Outstanding Club in what is known as region 5, consisting of all clubs with 3,000 - 6,000 alumni in their area.

Following is the text of the award.

Ticket Exchange Now Open

Our site includes a Ticket Exchange that can be used by club members to offer tickets they have available, and/or to express a desire for tickets. For example, Rob Jablonski has season tickets and often makes some of these available to other club members. If you have tickets, or don’t and want to, then check it out!

We are always excited to meet the fresh new students as they prepare for their adventure in Ann Arbor.

Special thanks go to Wes & Margo Rogers, who hosted the event, and to Michael Tarlowe, our head of Student Recruiting, for organizing.

Wolverines Take Sixth Place at NCAA Championships

NCAA Swimming

The Wolverines compiled 271.5 points to finish in the top 10 for the eighth straight season.

Michigan senior Alex Vanderkaay won the 400-yard individual medley for the second time in two years Friday at the NCAA swimming and diving championships in Federal Way, Washington.

Vanderkaay, who won the event in 3:41.58, became the first Wolverine to win back-to-back NCAA titles since Peter Vanderkaay, Alex’s older brother, won the 500-yard freestyle in 2005-06.
