Football Watching to Move to Buckley's in Belltown

As many of you know, we have for years had a loyal following showing up at the RockSport in West Seattle on Saturdays in the fall to watch Michigan football. Unfortunately, the RockSport will no longer be able to host these events for us. The Board has been searching for an alternative venue, and have made arrangements to move these to the new Buckley’s location in Belltown. There are pros and cons to all locations, and this new one will require some adjustments for us, but we have taken into consideration all of the following factors:

• Buckley’s is family friendly, and children are welcome.
• Since this is a new location, there aren’t other schools with an established presence here.
• Good food and a nice menu.
• They open at 9 on Saturdays, and serve breakfast!
• Owner Tim Buckley and his staff are Big Ten fans, and will happily convert their Belltown location into a Wolverine den on football Saturdays!
• Well appointed location with lots of large flat-panel televisions!
• A subscription to the Big Ten Network!

We obviously have a few months left before the football season starts, but want to invite you to drop by Buckley’s when you get a chance and familiarize yourself with the new location. Be sure to identify yourself as a Wolverine when you drop by — if it’s not already apparent from your apparel — and tell them you look forward to watching Michigan football there in the fall.
